Registration and login are required to submit items online and to check the status of current submissions.

Author Guidelines

The editor of EDUTOURISM Journal Of Tourism Research  welcomes article submissions in accordance with the following guidelines:  

•  Articles have not been published or accepted for publication, or are being considered for publication elsewhere. In addition to the manuscript, a written statement should be attached which clarifies that the article is original and does not contain any elements of plagiarism.
• Types of articles suitable for publication include the following; research reports (laboratory, field, archives), conceptual ideas, studies, theory applications.
• Articles which is written in English using academic language along with standard academic writing structure and composition. Artikel yang menggunakan Bahasa Indonesia mengacu pada Pedoman Umum Ejaan Bahasa Indonesia. Manuscripts are typed 1,5 spaced in a A4 sized paper, between 4.000-6.000 words in length including references, pictures, and tables as in article template.
• Only use foot notes instead of end notes is allowed to indicate additional explanations

1. Do not write author’s name in any part of the article
2. title (max. 15 words),
3. abstract (150-300 words for each) which includes research problems, methods, and results,
4. keywords (4-7 words),
5. introduction (without subsection, 2-3 pages) which includes background, objectives, methods, and literature reviews/ theoretical construct (if needed) of the research. The introduction section  ends with an emphasis on items to be discussed,
6. discussion (consists of result of the study, written in the form of subchapter (s)),
7. conclusion (is a brief summary of findings and discussion. It is strongly recommended to
8. avoid mere repetitive statements from the previous sections) and
9. references. All citations and reference writing should refer to the latest APA Style systematics (The 6th APA Style). References should be sorted alphabetically.

Online Submitting Manuscript Guidelines

The manuscript text must be submitted by online journal system :

• Submitting document should be done by Online Submission System in the EDUTOURISM  online journal system
• First, the author should register as an author (checking role as author) in the “Register”.
• After registration completed, log in as an author, click in “New Submission”. The article submits stage consist five stages, such as:  (1). Start, (2). Upload Submission, (3). Enter Metadata, (4). Upload Supplementary Files, (5). Confirmation.
• In the “Start” column, chose Journal Section (Full Article), check all the checklists.
• In the “Upload Submission” Columns, upload the manuscript files at MSWord format in this column.
• In the “Enter Metadata” columns, fill out all the author data and affiliation. Following the Journal Title, Abstract and Indexing Keywords.
• In the “Upload Supplementary Files” columns, allowed to upload supplementary data file or the statement letter or other else.
• In the “Confirmation” columns, if all the data that you enter were right, then click “Finish Submission”.
• If the author has difficulties in the submitting process via the online system,

Submission Preparation Checklist

As part of the submission process, authors are required to check off their submission's compliance with all of the following items, and submissions may be returned to authors that do not adhere to these guidelines.

1. The submission has not been previously published, nor is it before another journal for consideration (or an explanation has been provided in Comments to the Editor).
2. The submission file is in OpenOffice, Microsoft Word, RTF, or WordPerfect document file format.
3. Where available, URLs for the references have been provided.
4. The text is single-spaced; uses a 12-point font; employs italics, rather than underlining (except with URL addresses); and all illustrations, figures, and tables are placed within the text at the appropriate points, rather than at the end.
5. The text adheres to the stylistic and bibliographic requirements outlined in the Author Guidelines, which is found in About the Journal.
6. If submitting to a peer-reviewed section of the journal, the instructions in Ensuring a Blind Review have been followed.

Articles published in EDUTOURISM  are licensed under a Creative Commons Attribution-ShareAlike 4.0 International (CC BY-SA 4.0) license, which permits anyone to copy, transform, or redistribute articles for any lawful purpose in any medium, provided appropriate credit is given to the original author(s) and EDUTOURISM is recognized as its original publisher. A link to this license should also be provided. Any derivative work of an article published in EDUTOURISM  must also be shared under the same (or compatible) license.

Both copyright and publishing rights on articles are retained by the respective author(s), without restrictions. Only a non-exclusive license is granted to EDUTOURISM to publish the article and identify itself as its original publisher.

Any submission to EDUTOURISM will be taken to mean all authors associated with the manuscript agree to these conditions.
